Graham gets on his bike and raises money for Action Medical Research for children

Graham Hughes, Co Founder and Director recently turned to pedal power in order to raise money for the charity - Action Medical Research for Children. This entirely self funded chairty has for almost 60 years been behind numerous medical breakthroughs such as the UK polio vaccine, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, and more recently the fetal heart rate monitor a new state-of-the-art device that could help save thousands of at-risk babies. It also funds a range of research projects that address serious childhood conditions and improve the quality of life for children with disabilities.

Graham only took up cycling in 2012 as a way of keeping fit and active and prior to the event his longest ride hadbeen just over 50 miles! So when it came to tackling the 102 mile Suffolk Sunrise Champions Cycle Route he knew it was certainly something that was going to test his phtysical and mental fitness! The event which took place on Sunday 12th May 2013 in strong winds and light rain along the Suffolk Coast took Graham just over 9 hours to complete.

We would like to thank everyone that has shown their support and made a donation and helped Graham raise over £700 for this very worthwhile cause. It is still not too late to make a donation in recognition of Graham's effort and achievement.
