A new era of luxury care is dawning in Chelmsford with the opening of Broomfield Village Care Home, a £20m facility designed to make older people feel truly special. Siblings Ashish and Nisha Goyal, who grew up in their family’s care home business, are the masterminds behind this innovative new venture. With a background in accounting, finance, and economics, the pair have brought their extensive experience to create a care home that promises a premium level of comfort and care.
Residents of Broomfield Village will enjoy self-contained studio suites with patios, weekly pampering sessions, and access to a hydrotherapy pool. The home also offers an array of activities, including a gardening club, cake-making sessions with the resident chef, and movie nights in the in-house cinema. There’s even a putting green and a toy shop for grandchildren to enjoy.
Opening later this year behind Broomfield Hospital, the care home will feature 137 bedrooms and facilities previously unseen in the area. “We are offering a premium level of care and surroundings,” says Ashish. “When you walk into Broomfield Village, you can feel that it is different. It feels premium but also familiar – it feels like home.”
The care home aims to cater to a wide range of needs, from those requiring minimal support to individuals needing nursing care and specialist dementia care. The Goyals’ mission is to provide extraordinary care in exceptional environments, ensuring residents remain active and imaginative.
The team is already being formed, with roles such as deputy manager and wellbeing lead filled, and more positions to be recruited soon. Ashish and Nisha are eager to welcome the first residents and make them feel at home.
For those considering residential care, Ashish offers a warm invitation: “Come in for a chat. See what we can do for you. We believe a loved one moving into a care home should be the start of a new chapter.”
